Part of the game is an ability to bluff. When you say "it just throws every thing out the window"; all that is happening is you're playing with your hand tipped, too many "tells". Why telegraph what you have to the table?

People will fold if your face lights up. They'll know that you just got a wicked hand. But, if you give an Academy Award winning performance--act nervous, constantly check your cards--you can fool people into thinking your hand is weak, then blast them for most of their chips when the hand is through. This is all under the "tells" category of any poker book. Before you go to Vegas, I suggest you bone up.

I think with the straight poke face people eventually totally give up on trying to figure you out.
I have played poker only a few times. In all honestly I have a very poor idea on how to play. I do have the poker face down pat (hey I work with kids perfected this many years ago). The poker face is what wins for me cause most players have literally given up on trying to figure out my hand/moves based on the look of my face.
The thing that I alternate is what I do. I might have nothing more than a pair of 2's and I keep playing as if I had a full house. I bluff a whole lot, yet people never know when I am bluffing or not.

I think most people take the stance that the best way not to give anything away is to have zero reaction one way or the other.
I see your point as having merit as well.
Personally - I hope you become a professional poker player and join the circuit with that as your personality.
It would be hilarious...Move all in and start barking like a dog...raise preflop and start beating your chest like Tarzan...I'd watch a lot more poker.
