if they are a total novice they are probably only playing the cards, i don't think there is a fast way unless they raise you all in when you have the nuts..
if they are loose/aggressive, wait until you have a good hand, or the nuts and slow play them, they are likely to raise you on 1 pair or nothing for a bluff so just call to the river and re-raise them big, most donks will call anyway especially if they don't know how to fold a pair of aces
if they are tight/aggressive (probably not a novice) steal pots with raises based on how they react, you will take alot of pots and if they re-raise you it is likely they have something...then you just have to decide if your hand is probably better...although raising alot may leave you open to a bluff or 2 since you will be seen as a loose player
loose/passive are the worst donks in my opinion, they will usually call anything and play almost every hand, making them hard to bluff against and also if you have a great hand they may get lucky on the river..i would play these tight/aggressive and hope they don't donk the river
tight/passive are easy to steal pots from but if they call you they probably have something good and will call you down with small raises, raise these bigger and if they call play cautiously
this is only basic but just an example of how to play a novice playing style, just react to what they are doing and remember they are probably plying the cards...usually any ace is good for them
there is some good info at the twoplustwo forum

if you feel you are a better poker player then the longer you want them sitting at the table, and if you feel they are better poker players get in with the best hand and get out fast. The best thing for any poker player to do is keep those spewing chips sitting at your table.

Depends on how they are playing. Off the bat I would assume they are going to be aggressive and bluff their heads off. Play conservatively and don't be afraid to call them if you think their bluffing. Once you get a good chip lead go aggressive and don't give them a chance to get comfortable. If you keep them on their toes they won't know how to react and will being making more mistakes. Have fun with that free money.

I suggest you wait and see whos sitting at your table. Dont assume that just because they look fishy, they are fish. Play tight and understand how the others are playing then you can start defining your style depending how your position, who is already in the pot, who raised, who called, who is being stealing pots, who is tight, etc... One of the best sites for poker strategy is pokerstrategy.com and you sould definetly have a look in there. Good luck!!!
