I’ve heard of a lot of online poker sites, but I don’t know which would be the best for me, a beginner. I’m not looking to bet any real money at the moment, but possibly in the future (if I get good enough ). Any suggestions?
Full Tilt and Pokerstars are fine options you can always play on their fake money tables. However there are coaching sites out there that will teach you how to play and also give you $50 to get you started http://www.pokerstrategy.com/uIVQI3 is one such site.
I like to stick to ones I’ve heard of like Full Tilt and Pokerstars
Just a note on that: IF at sometime you want to play for real money (and it’s legal for you) go to the .com version of the websites…..
If you just want to do play money and don’t want the temptation for the real money, go to the .net version
EDIT: but you can still just do play money on the real money versions of the sites
I would say Betsafe poker cause its originaly a sportsbook and the people that play poker come from there, they are weaker than the other sites. You can find review here http://www.gamblingsafe.net/online-poker…
of the site, I think you can play for free too in the freerolls.
Try Full Tilt Poker, they also have a poker academy which is part of the package when you register and goes through the rules of poker and has advanced strategies as well.

6partypoker.com. It is very fun and you can bet real or fake money. Mess around with fake money then try your luck with real money!
