If you are playing with a single deck, it is simple though. If both of you are holding pocket aces that means all four suits are represented. Before the flop, there is an equal chance for the flush. The flop changes everything, though, as you will only get a chance to add 5 cards and three of them will be here. Unless you match two of the three here with one of your aces, you will never get the flush. AND SINCE YOU EACH HAVE TWO DIFFERENT SUITS, ONLY ONE OF YOU COULD POSSIBLY DO THIS. Still this does not guarantee the flush. It just makes it unlikely for the other possibilities.
