First, let me state that playing online poker is NOT illegal. The new law does not criminalize a person for playing poker online. There is a lot of misinformation going around. I suggest you really do your research and find out the facts for yourself.
That being said, it will be more difficult to fund your account as FirePay has stopped depositing to online gambling sites. However, NETeller will allow you to deposit funds into a new poker account. I did it just a few days ago and had no problem.
I would recommend you open an account at Poker.com. They have pledged to continue to accept US poker players. They are hosting a special $5,000 freeroll just for US players.

There’s still a ton of places you can play. Neteller still works at plenty of sites that are still accepting US players. Try fulltilt, absolute poker, ultimatebet, or pokerstars.

It depends on what the law is tomorrow. Right now many online casinos still accept US players, but the Feds are making it harder and harder. Still, Prohibition didn’t last forever, so there’s always hope for us dye-hard Poker fans.
