I can’t find anything, I’ve tried googling and searching but I cannot find anything that states that it is illegal or not. I want to deposit $100 or so and start up, but I thought I heard a while back that they were cracking down on it and making it tough for people who just want to play some poker.
Can anyone help me or direct me to a site that could help me?

1As an online poker player located in the United States you are NOT violating the UIGEA or any other federal law. Kansas doesn’t have any specific state law regarding online gambling so the answer is no, it’s not illegall.
If you’d like more information on this as well as poker room reviews, bonus offers and more, go to http://www.onlinepokerads.net and check out the U.S. player help section. Hope this helps and good luck to you.

2Muffin is a moron. Its not illegal to play online. There may be some withdraw issues, and in the immediate future they may get more complicated but you won’t just lose your money outright, you will just probably have to wait a bit before you can get it if you want it.
Of course, if you aren’t in it for the long run you are probably going to lose it all anyway.

3No, there are only a few states that consider online gaming illegal, and Kansas is not one of them. I’m sure they don’t exactly condone it, but there are no specific laws directed at online gambling. As long as you report significant winnings on your taxes, you should be free of any problems. If you are looking for a reputable online poker site, check out http://www.GamblingReviewsSite.com/poker… for some independent reviews. Use bonus code RIVER88 at doylesroom or full tilt for their best bonuses. Best of luck.

4OH my god the hypocrisy of this country. you can join the army and die for your country but they wont let you gamble with your own money. what a sad day..
you get be 21 and drink alcohol till you die. you can have sex and have as many kids as you like. but… you get your paycheck and wanna play some poker and big brother says NO i will not allow you to use your own money for poker.
you know the real reason for making such things illegal right? they cant have a piece of the poker table rake so they outlaw it. same thing with marijuana, less harmful than alcohol and its illegality is atrocious and unimaginable punitive laws came from greedy neocons putting on this goodguy facade for a drug free america when they know america will never be drug free. coffee is a drug, outlaw that then. idiots

5It is legal. There is now law against it in USA and no law against it in Kansas. But you can play only at USA friendly poker sites. The other sites dont accept americans. Here is a good list with reviews of the best USA friendly poker sites. http://www.gamblingsafe.net/usa-friendly…

6Check http://dagus-statistics.com/fulltilt and http://dagus-statistics.com/ultimatebet for US friendly sites.
There’s a list of reviews at http://poker-lobby.com and http://dagus-statistics.com/reviews
Kansas has no law regarding online poker, and there is no federal law making it illegal to play online poker in the US! There’s no crackdown, just some bogus legislation that limits banks’ transactions with poker sites (which expired over TWO years ago!).

7There are large no. of online casinos in which people can play various casino games such as roulette, blackjack, baccarat and many more. Online gambling is not completely banned in US. There are many online casinos which allow US players. Check out http://www.casinosdiary.com/us-online-ca… to know more about it.
