you should play tight against loose players as was said. personally, I just stop raising altogether...Every hand I want to see the flop, turn or river I just call down...if you're playing ultra loose players and asking for advice I assume you're not doing well against them...so only go in on hands where you KNOW you're ahead...try and see the river and if you still have the nuts...then let them bluff/bet off their stacks...but I wouldn't be calling with mediocre hands trying to improve, it's just going to be expensive and quickly diminish your stack. I personally would just be pushing allin whenever I knew I was ahead statistically...IE AK suited Preflop...or high PP...you know you're ahead of their weak hands so gamble...you'll win more times than you lose...but that only works if you're willing to lose 30-40% of the time. If you want good literature on poker read Super System by Doyle Brunson, Mike Caro's Book of Tells, and otherwise just play more poker and get used to it...try online or fixed limit cash games....they're full of loose players :P

Make the loose players pay to play against you. Let them win the small pots against you. Make sure you win the big pots when you have the nuts.

My golden rule is to play tight against loose players and loose against tight players. I am not sure of any books, but I can only tell you to adjust your play accordingly.
I also like to trap and check-raise against loose players. They will pay you off like crazy.

I've been trying to figure out the same thing!!!
I am trying to play tighter, only get my money in the pot when I have the goods, and don't bluff. Trying to bluff against lose players is just like going over and stacking your chips up in their chip stack.
I gave you a star...maybe you'll give me best answer? :)

I agree with the other posters that you have to play tight with loose players, i just let them steal from me for a few hands, then i pick up a hand and drop the hammer on them. I also don't mind making a re-raise to there raise once in a while to keep them in line. But loose players can pick up aces and kings just like anyone else so be sure to pick your spot when you decide to play back at them. But i don't mind laying down 2nd pair to loose players, it give the image that they can just come over the top every hand to take the pot. So when i make a big hand I'll either drop the hammer or I'll string them along if they don't realize what I'm doing. I know many players who play loose, but they are very smart players who know when to let a hand go as well. These players are very hard to deal with, i have given away money to these kind of players. I have even been sick to turn over my hand against them, because i have called to whole way down with bottom pair and no draw, and they turn over the stone cold nuts, and i would have folded my hand against any other player (makes me sick). Loose players gets lots of action, and they win huge pots with there big hands, but they are also coming into the pot with weaker hands, so they need to be able to read the other players as well as the situation very well because they can get into a lot of trouble otherwise with kicker issues.
