Can I Download A Poker Game That Does Not Require An Internet Connection?

I love playing Texas Hold’Em poker, but all the games available on the web need a permanent internet connection. Are there any downloads which I can play directly off my computer or even against the computer?
I would prefer a free download and also a reputable one at that? Can anyone suggest a good one for me to use?
